Intelligent Washing System
Once the start button is pressed, sensors detect the load and the selected water temperature to optimise water level and cycle time according to the size and type of load. It also prevents users from selecting excessive spin speeds and temperatures over the appropriate range, which can result in damage to clothes. After auto programming, the washing machine automatically begins its cycle. The intelligent washing system detects and adjusts imbalances and excessive suds during operation for the best washing performance.
Time Delay

Quick 30

20 Minute Steam Refresh
A 20 minute cycle that uses steam to deodorise, refresh and reduce creases for up to 5 shirts. It uses no detergent and uses only 1 litre of water. Your clothes will come out fresh without having to run a full cycle.
Pause & Add Function
All LG front loaders have the basic function of being able to pause in between the wash cycle to add more clothes. Once the pause button is pressed, the door will unlock once the water settles down which may take up to approximately 60 seconds.
Allergy Care
Reduces allergens using high temperature in conjunction with steam. At a temperature of approximately 60 degrees for ten minutes, this assists with the reduction of common household allergens such as dust mites, providing a more hygienic wash.

Pros: Energy efficient, reliable, fantastic wash options
Cons: Sometimes loud spin cycle - but nothing major
Overall: Fantastic settings, can do a quick wash (only 18 minutes), cottons and cottons eco (extra water efficiency), synthetics and delicates. Great options for bedding too - I washed our doona with no problems.
I love that you can adjust each load to your specifications: water temperature, load "dirtiness" and can add pre-wash or extra rinse cycles to most settings.
The guide that comes with the washing machine is great as it provides you with all the info you need to make sure you are using the best wash option. And with the great water efficiency you also only need a small amount of detergent to ensure that the wash is perfect anyway! Never had a load come out that isn't clean and rinsed well.
The only minor complaint I have is that the spin cycles can be loud, but I haven't found them to be any worse than any other washing machine I have had before.

Cons: No delicate wash, not that i have any but others might miss this. Water level seems to set a little too low so I always up it by one level. Now to see if it lasts longe than the 2 year warranty.
Overall: I enjoy using this machine so much more than my simpson eziset 550. Can just throw clothes into machine as there's no centre tower or fins to catch clothes on, it's a breeze to use even without using the manual. Even sat there and watched the first wash through the see through lid :)
